Understanding Your Arizona Water Bill Statement
At Pueblo Del Sol Water Company, we strive to make your experience with us as seamless as possible. From your water supply to customer service and billing, we want our customers to feel well taken care of and informed. That’s why we have created this easy-to-navigate billing resource to help you better understand how your account and billing statements work.
Comprehensive Overview Of Your Billing Statement
Starting at the upper right portion of the page and going downward, you will see the following information:
- Account number: This is the number associated with your service address. If you are calling the toll-free number to make an over-the-phone payment, you will need this number along with your phone number.
- Billing Identification: This is the number used to set up your online account access.
- Service Address: The location of the service, meter, and home.
- Last Payment Date: The date of the last customer payment.
- AMT: This stands for the amount of payment made.
- Service From: This indicates the time between the last date the meter was read and the current read date.
- Account Activity: This number is indicated in gallons and provides meter numbers associated with the service address, previous meter read, current meter read, and usage of the location.
- Current Charges: This area breaks down the water charges and tax. Furthermore, if any other charges occur, for instance, a credit to the account, or a meter deposit refund, you will find that number here as well.
Amount Due Area
In the “Amount Due” area you will find the following:
- Previous Balance: This indicates the open amount since your last statement
- Payments: This may be displayed as minus payment(s) if payments were made during the last billing cycle. If no payment was made, it will show as a zero.
- Total Current Charges: This indicates the total current charges made to the account.
- Total Amount Due: This section will equal the difference between the previous balance, less payments, and current charges.
The Right Side of the Payment Coupon Section
The payment coupon section should be detached from the billing statement to be mailed with the check payment for your water service. The right side of the coupon states the following:
- Total amount due by due date + $xx.xx
- The amount enclosed is to be filled out by the customer for the amount they are paying.
If you are set up with an automatic payment plan, you will see the following on your statement:
- “Total Amount Due Will Draft From Your Bank Account On Due Date”
If you have a credit balance payment on your billing statement, you will see the following:
Credit Balance
Do Not Pay -00.00
Credit Balance – Do Not Pay
The Left Side of the Payment Coupon Section
The left side of the coupon includes information reiterating the account details, including the account number, billing ID, service address, meter reading dates, due date, mailing address, and payment mailing address. It also provides options to update the mailing address by marking a box and filling out the other side of the payment coupon to change the mailing address.
Additional Information
The remaining information on the billing statement that runs from the upper left side of the page downward, not including the payment coupon area, includes the following:
- Company logo, company name, location of our office, website, and phone number
- Customer name and mailing address
- Hours of operation, emergency/after-hours phone number
- Payment by phone number
